Twenty-four outfits that defined the sartorial character of Tony Soprano, the mobster played by James Gandolfini on HBO, are on sale for charity, The Associated Press reported. Proceeds from the June 25 auction at Christie’s will go to the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit group that assists soldiers severely wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan. The outfits, above, include the button-down blue shirt that Tony wore in the opening credits of “The Sopranos,” the bathrobe in which he collected the morning newspaper and the blood-splattered black-and-beige polo shirt, white tank top and black pants he wore when he was shot by Uncle Junior. Mr. Gandolfini’s wardrobe, which includes many items with the original production tags attached, is expected to fetch up to $36,000. His contract allowed him to keep the clothes after “The Sopranos” ended last year.

Shakespeare’s crumbling grave marker at Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon, left, needs a makeover, The Associated Press reported. But the superstitious can exhale: Shakespeare’s remains would not be moved, so workers could avoid the curse on anyone who “moves my bones,” as the stone tablet’s inscription warns. Friends of Shakespeare’s Church hope to raise £4 million ($7.9 million) to restore the marker and other elements of the church, Josephine Walker, a spokeswoman for the group, said. The church, still used for worship, attracts 100,000 tourists a year, Ms. Walker said. Shakespeare was baptized at Holy Trinity on April 26, 1564, and buried there on April 25, 1616.

Lyrics for the Amy Winehouse song “Love Is a Losing Game,” written with Mark Ronson, appeared on a final exam taken by English students at Cambridge University, the BBC reported. Students were told to compare Ms. Winehouse’s words with Billie Holiday’s song “Fine and Mellow,” Bob Dylan’s song “Boots of Spanish Leather” and the Walter Raleigh poem beginning, “As You Came From the Holy Land.” A university spokesman said that English students had always been asked to compare writers of different eras, according to the BBC.

Madonna’s adoption of David Banda, below, a Malawian boy she met in an orphanage in 2006, was approved by a judge in Malawi on Wednesday, The Associated Press reported. Madonna did not appear in court for the ruling, which took Justice Andrew Nyirenda an hour to read. Justice Nyirenda said that he was satisfied that Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie, a British filmmaker, “are perfect parents.” Critics had accused Madonna of getting around Malawian adoption laws because she is a celebrity. David’s father said on Wednesday that he was glad the adoption was successful. The child’s mother died when he was a month old; he is now 2.

“Hell’s Kitchen” lifted Fox to No. 1 in the ratings on Tuesday as 9.4 million viewers tuned in to that reality series cooking competition at 9 p.m., according to Nielsen’s estimates. Although CBS’s “NCIS” repeat earned slightly more total viewers at 8 p.m. (9.7 million), “Hell’s Kitchen” remained far and away the night’s leader among adults 18 to 49. Meanwhile, Fox’s “Moment of Truth” delivered the second-highest results in that demographic, despite garnering a modest audience of 7.3 million viewers at 8 p.m. Ratings for that game show, in which contestants are questioned after being strapped to a polygraph machine, were down three million viewers, compared with the last time it appeared on Fox’s schedule eight weeks ago (although the show had preceded “American Idol” then). CBS ranked second for the night in total viewers with a rerun of “The Unit” at 9 (6 million) and a “48 Hours” special at 10 (8.3 million). Among adults 18 to 49, CBS finished third behind Fox and NBC, which got a boost from repeats of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” at 9 (7.1 million) and at 10 (7.3 million). ABC was fourth over all.

Young@Heart, the chorus group of about two dozen elderly performers who cover the songs of an array of artists — James Brown, Coldplay, the Clash, the Bee Gees — are scheduled to play at the Beacon Theater in New York next month. Currently featured in the documentary “Young@Heart,” the group, which began in 1982 in a center for the elderly in Northampton, Mass., specializes in reinterpretations of rhythm and blues, rock and punk classics. Tickets to the concert, on June 22, are available through Ticketmaster and can also be purchased at the Beacon Theater, Broadway at 74th Street.

The Munch Museum, which has the world’s largest collection of works by Edvard Munch, is moving across Oslo to a new building, near the futuristic new opera building, city officials said on Wednesday. Agence France-Presse reported the move in an article about plans for a cultural center that includes the museum. The center, which will include two museums and a library, is to be built on the banks of the Oslo Fjord behind the opera house. It is to be inaugurated in 2014 when Norway celebrates the 200th anniversary of the signing of its constitution. The Munch Museum was in the headlines in 2004 when ‘The Scream” and “Madonna” were stolen from it; they were retrieved two years later and went back on display last week.

Three new albums take the top spots on the Billboard album chart this week. The rock band 3 Doors Down is at No. 1 with 154,000 sales of its self-titled new album on Universal, Nielsen SoundScan reported. Bun B of the long-running Texas rap duo UGK is No. 2 with his second solo record, “II Trill” (Rap-A-Lot/Asylum), with 98,000. (Bun B’s partner in UGK, Pimp C, died in December.) Third place goes to Julianne Hough, a 19-year-old country singer and “Dancing With the Stars” alumna; her self-titled debut on Mercury Nashville sold 67,000 copies. Last week’s No. 1, Death Cab for Cutie’s “Narrow Stairs” (Atlantic), slipped to No. 5 with 53,000 sales. Down the chart, Donna Summer’s first CD of new material in 17 years, “Crayons” (Burgundy), opened at No. 17 with 23,000.
